Frequently Asked Questions

Can you perform cleaning without shutting down the entire production line or facility?

Yes, in many cases we can perform cleaning without requiring a full line or plant shutdown. Using methods such as Dry Ice Blasting, we are able to clean equipment after it has been safely isolated, locked out, and controlled, without extensive disassembly or long drying times. This allows for faster restarts, reduced maintenance windows, and minimal disruption to overall production schedules.

Do your technicians have Confined Space certification?

Absolutely. Many industrial cleaning tasks, such as hydraulic press pit cleaning or tankcleaning, require Confined Space Entry. Our teams are fully certified and equipped with thenecessary gas detection, ventilation, and retrieval systems to perform this work safely and incompliance with Ontario regulations (O. Reg 632/05).

How do you handle factory shutdowns or turnarounds?

We understand that shutdowns (typically in July and December) are critical windows for deep maintenance. We can scale our workforce to provide 24/7 coverage during these periods toensure all deep cleaning—from overhead truss dusting to paint booth stripping—is completed before your line starts up again.

Do you provide documentation for safety audits (SQF/BRC/ISO)?

Yes. We know that for food processors and automotive manufacturers, if it isn't documented, it didn't happen. We provide detailed post-service reporting through our WOMS platform, including before-and-after photos and safety sign-offs, to help you breeze through SQF, BRC, or ISO audits.

What is the difference between Dry Ice Blasting and Sandblasting?

Sandblasting is abrasive and leaves a large amount of grit (secondary waste) that must be cleaned up. Dry Ice Blasting is non-abrasive (it won't damage sensors or wiring) and themedia evaporates, leaving no secondary waste. This makes Dry Ice superior for cleaningcomplex machinery, robotics, and electrical panels inside a facility.
